Our family story.
On his return from the second world war Max Sisley helped out at a grocery store on Yonge Street in Thornhill. That was when it was a small village in the countryside. He was mechanically inclined so when customers had a problem with their cars he would get out his wrenches and fix them. When customers wanted a new car he would find it for them.
At the time Chryslers were a popular make so Max parked a couple outside the store with a price on the windshield and when they sold he would replace them. That was how we got started. [more]
Don's son Hugh took over the dealership in 1993. Continuing the tradition of innovation, and to better serve the needs of customers, Hugh designed a new facility double the size of the old one including a light-filled showroom with coffee shop and drive-in 35 bay service facility that in 2002 became our home, situated on Steeles, just West of Yonge Street.
The Sisley family has seen a lot of families grow up in this fast-growing region. The village of Lansing is long forgotten beneath the developments of Yonge and Sheppard.
